Describe: About 12 % of male boys in 8th grade are hit, shoved, or pushed once or twice in 30 days. 9 % of 8th grade females are hit, shoved, or pushed about the same, once or twice in about 30 days (one month). 9 % of 8th grade males bully or hit, slap, kick, or maybe threaten to beat someone up. That is about 1 in 10 students bullying others. 6 % of female 8th graders do the same bullying.
Carry out: The data could help us make after school programs. These kinds of programs could help the bully figure out what their problem is whether its related to friends, family, themselves being bullied, ect... And those being bullied can help redeem themselves and feel good about themselves.
Analize: My thought is that no matter how many people are being bullied even if it isn't you it has to stop. People are hurt by words and actions even if you don't realize it. 12 % is 12 out of 100 boys. Which is the same as 3 out of 25. I am very sure all of you don't want to be one of those 3 people. So lets all work together and stop judging people by there race, size, family, looks, ect...
Formulate: If you feel like you are alone in this world your not! Ask a parent or trusted adult for help and they will help you. There is no reason to feel scared or embarrassed because your not the only one. If one person could just come forward you'll make a change. Maybe make a "stop bullying" clu or "redeem yourself" club. You will feel happier and healthier!
Questions: Why after so many years is bullying still happening? What more do we need to do to help that?
